Texas Trash Snack Mix

Every time we make this, Adam and I thank our good friend Heather for sharing the recipe with us! Its Chex Mix, but better. We always make a double or even a triple batch, because it never lasts long!

Texas Trash Snack Mix

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups rice Chex
2 cups wheat Chex
4 oz. shoestring potatoes
2 cups pretzel sticks
1 cup salted nuts

Directions

1. In a large skillet, melt the butter. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt and garlic powder. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.

2. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

I have 2 boxes of Chex and I've been meaning to make my own chex mix...I think this may be the version I go with!

Glad that you liked it - its pretty much the favorite snack in our house! I stock up on Chex cereal when its on cereal and we make huge batches of it.
